Gershun-Tube-Kit

The Gershun Tube Kit is an optical assembly that can be used to control the Field-Of-View coming into a spectrometer. A standard fiber is approximately 25 degrees. By attaching the Gershun Tube to your spectrometer or fiber, you can modify the Field-Of-View with any of the aperture disks by inserting one of the disks into the barrel of the Gershun Tube. The apertue disk is secured by screwing in the retaining ring to the barrel. The Gershun tube can be connected directly to a spectrometer or to a SMA 905-terminated optical fiber to control the Field-Of-View of the setup. Each assembly comprises a conical base and middle and outer barrels that are threaded together. User-interchangeable apertures can be quickly switched to adjust the Field-Of-View at different increments from 1°-28°. The Gershun-Tube-Kit comes with aperture disks for 1°, 3°, 8°, 10° and 14° Field-Of-View.

Fiber Termination Kits

SMA-905 Termination Kit

This Fiber Termination Kit give you the tools you need to build and repair fiber assemblies. It includes all the tools you need to terminate, polish and inspect an optical fiber assembly, as well as a variety of SMA 905 connectors.

You can add individual terminations for fibers of different core diameters, as well as termination kits in standard hex-nut and premium knurled ferrule versions. This kit is for working with fiber core diameters 150 µm-to-1300 µm.

Featuring a premium knurled ferrule, these SMA connectors are available for 100-, 200-, 300-, 400-, 600- and 1,000-micron fibers.
